Castello was founded by Carlo Scotti in Cantù in 1947 and remains one of the most respected names in Italian pipe making. Old Antiquari is the house’s signature sandblasted finish, chosen to bring out the structure of the briar while giving the pipe a rugged tactile surface. This shape 93 bent Egg carries a KKK size designation, a deep chamber and the full Carlo Scotti and Made in Cantù provenance. The pipe measures 5.75 inches long, with a 0.71-inch chamber opening and a chamber depth of 1.95 inches. The pipe is stamped “Castello”; “Old Antiquari”; “KKK 93”; “Made in Cantu”; “Italy”; “Carlo Scotti”.
