From Nørding:
"Crocodile · Crocodylus
Dear Erik Nørding.
With innumerable subspecies the crocodile is spread all over the earth on both sides of the equator.
A length of 5–6 metres is not uncommon. Some of the biggest ones are found in the southern part of the U.S.A., on Cuba, in South America, Africa, and Australia.
The awe-inspiring jaws of the crocodile are more like a vice than a biting and crushing tool.
When the crocodile has got a firm on its prey, it throws itself around in the water, until the prey has been drowned—and then it tears it into pieces and devours it.
From this account a man’s pipe has been created.
