This Peterson tobacco jar brings a touch of Baker Street to the pipe desk. Its hexagonal body is wrapped in rich oxblood leather with neat stitched edges and an embossed Peterson logo. A sculpted metal bust of Sherlock Holmes forms the handle on the fitted lid, giving the otherwise understated jar its distinctive character.
Inside, a hardened elastomer liner is designed to seal tightly and help keep pipe tobacco fresh. The jar holds approximately 2–3 oz (56–85 g) of tobacco. It measures about 115 mm (4.5 in) tall and 90 mm (3.5 in) across.
