Sun Bear: Black Locust is a limited Virginia-and-Oriental flake made with Bright and Red Virginias, Basma, and Izmir. The 2021 edition is distinguished by Maryland black locust honey, used alongside delicate touches of silver tequila and elderflower. Those accents support a bright, floral, gently sweet profile rather than turning the blend into a heavy dessert aromatic. The Orientals add fragrance and depth beneath the fruitier Virginia character, while the honey helps round the finish.
