Parker was closely tied to Dunhill from its 1920s beginnings, and early examples often share patents, engineering details and a level of workmanship that make them highly collectible today. This Super Bruyere shape 1 carries the Dunhill-associated patent number 116989/17 and is recorded as a 1937 pipe, placing it in the prewar period. Most importantly, it remains new old stock—an exceptional condition for a pipe approaching ninety years of age. The pipe measures 5.66 inches long, with a 0.75-inch chamber opening and a chamber depth of 1.60 inches. The pipe is stamped “Parker Super Bruyere”; “1”; “Made in London”; “Pat. No. 116989/17”.
