Hickok Premier Imported Briar Billiard

Hickok pipes are far less documented than the major American marques and appear to belong to the broad private-label trade that supplied tobacconists and retailers throughout the twentieth century. This example is a straightforward billiard stamped Hickok and Imported Briar. One additional stamp is indistinct, so the pipe is presented for what can be established rather than given an unsupported maker story. The pipe measures 5.72 inches long, with a 0.75-inch chamber opening and a chamber depth of 1.50 inches. The pipe is stamped “Hickok”; “Imported Briar”; one indistinct stamp.
