Peterson’s shape 201 is a straightforward Irish billiard, but the sterling-silver mount and P-Lip mouthpiece give this vintage example the details most closely associated with the Dublin maker. The K&P, Dublin and Made in Ireland stamps provide the core provenance, while the silver hallmarks may allow the production year to be narrowed further. It is a traditional Peterson made more interesting by its original appointments. The pipe measures 5.57 inches long, with a 0.74-inch chamber opening and a chamber depth of 1.55 inches. The pipe is stamped “K&P”; “Dublin”; “Sterling Silver”; “201”; “Made in Ireland”.
