Shape 69 is one of Peterson’s enduring bent billiards, recognized for its rounded bowl, comfortable bend and unmistakably Irish proportions. This vintage example adds a sterling-silver mount and the marque’s signature P-Lip mouthpiece. The silver band is not only decorative; its hallmarks can often provide the most precise clue to the pipe’s production year. The pipe measures 5.35 inches long, with a 0.80-inch chamber opening and a chamber depth of 1.60 inches. The pipe is stamped “K&P Dublin”; “Peterson’s”; “Dublin”; “Sterling Silver”; “69”; “Made in Ireland”.
