Evening Rise is a Cornell & Diehl blend, though it appeared after Captain Earle’s in your list. It takes an unusual Burley-based approach to the English style, combining Burley with Latakia, Turkish tobacco, and a little Virginia. That gives it a grounded, earthy and nutty center beneath its smoky and fragrant accents. The Virginia provides a modest touch of sweetness without taking over.
