Private Cellar: 2022 Peterson Early Morning Pipe

Standard Mixture sits comfortably between Early Morning Pipe and Nightcap in character. It combines Virginia, Latakia, and Oriental tobaccos in a traditional English ribbon cut, aiming for a steady balance of sweetness, smoke, and spice rather than emphasizing one component. The Virginias form a gentle base; the Latakia adds woodsmoke and depth; and the Orientals bring a drier, more aromatic edge. Your 2019 tin has had several years to mature, so, if its seal is intact, those elements may have become softer and more closely integrated
