Private Cellar: 2024 Cornell & Diehl Golden Days of Yore

Golden Days of Yore is Cornell & Diehl’s festive aromatic built on a notably varied tobacco mixture: Red and Bright Virginias, Black Cavendish, dark-fired Kentucky, and Katerini Oriental leaf. Ginger, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, chocolate, and a dash of dark rum give it a holiday-spice theme. The blend has more tobacco complexity beneath its flavoring than a simple sweet Cavendish aromatic: the Virginias add brightness, the Kentucky adds depth, and the Oriental leaf adds fragrance.
